Fellowship Teams:

Fellowship teams at Summitview are small groups of people that meet throughout the week in homes across the city of Loveland. Fellowship Teams are really the heartbeat of our church and is a place where we can experience community and fellowship together as a family. Teams are not a place for "perfect" people but rather a place where imperfect people can come for encouragement. While we study the Bible, our meetings are not "Bible studies" in the traditional sense. The focus of our teams is fourfold:

1. Honor God:
We encourage one another to seek God first in our lives. Studying God's word, singing, prayer, breaking bread, sharing prayer requests, or encouraging one another in open discussion are important aspects of our team meetings.

2. Godly Relationships:
Joining a fellowship team is like, joining a family. It creates an atmosphere where people feel loved, accepted and are united in purpose. In a small group setting, it is easier to get to know others and share your life's. We share meals together, hangout together, and serve one another.

3. Discipleship / Character:
We encourage everyone to develop to full maturity in their relationship with Christ. We believe that God raises leaders up from amongst us, as they grow in Godly character, allowing us to multiply our fellowship teams to meet the needs of God's ever growing family.

4. Unite to Accomplish the Great Commission:
We prepare people for works of service in order to be salt and light in this world. We seek to meet new folks and serve them in varying capacities in our team, on Sunday mornings, and throughout the week, as we share Christ and our lives with them.
